26SSコレクションは、デンマーク文化への畏敬と、18〜19世紀の童話がもつロマンティックな感情から生まれました。
アンデルセン童話に描かれる、小さな世界を旅する幻想と夢見るような繊細な感覚。
その想像は、当時の西洋が憧れたオリエンタルな世界──ペルシャや中東の国々、
そして『アラジン』の物語へと、静かに広がっていきます。

絵画のように描かれた瑞々しいフローラルに加え、切り絵を思わせる花や小さなモチーフ、
ペルシャ絨毯や宮殿装飾に見られるタイルのリズム、刺繍図案から着想を得た美しいパターン、
そして、おとぎ話のラビリンス（迷宮）や、物語を運ぶ蝶や切手のモチーフが、幻想の風景を形づくります。

SS-26 is created around fairytales and romantic feelings,
Fairytales are often characterized by being set in an indefinite time and place, this is reflected throughout the collection. However, most of the inspiration references in the SS-26 collection are from the 18th and 19th Century. There are also several references to Persia, which at that time was seen as, part of the mysticism of the East, where fairytales like Aladdin is based.​
